Salon grooming is not for every dog, especially for aging dogs and for young puppies being introduced to grooming.
That’s where home grooming comes in!
Home grooming eliminates noise-induced stress for dogs, as they are already in the quiet comfort of their homes. And because your dog will be the only pet getting groomed, he or she can enjoy much needed breaks during his or her service. The groomer would just need a tub or sink to wash your pet in and a surface you wouldn’t mind getting fuzzy to blow dry and groom your pet on.

The groomer transports almost every piece of equipment you’d see in a grooming salon to your home. That equipment would include pet hair clippers, pet hair cutting shears, ear cleaner, nail trimmers, dental tools, a pet-approved blow dryer, shampoo and conditioner.

The in-home grooming process can take anywhere between 2 and 3 hours, with set up and cleanup included!

All you’ll need to provide are towels for your groomer to dry your pup off with and a surface for your pet to be dried and styled on, like a desk or a countertop!

Because the groomer is traveling to you, our services are limited to the Full Groom Package and the Maintenance Package. Unfortunately, we do not offer a' la carte or bath only services. If your pet just needs a bath or a nail trim service, Your Next Door Groomer can help connect you with other salons in your neighborhood.
